I am hoping to find time over the Christmas holidays to go to the following art exhibitions:
- William Morris: Anarchy & Beauty
is on at the National Portrait Gallery until 11th January. The exhibition explores the life and ideas of the great Victorian artist William Morris. Through portraits, personal items and fascinating objects, many of which are on public display for the first time, this major exhibition illustrates Morris’s concept of 'art for the people' and highlights the achievements of those that he inspired. - Constable: The Making of Master
is on at the V&A until 11th January and the show includes his full-scale oil sketches in addition to his finished paintings.
