Mr Turner

I thoroughly recommend that you go and see the film 'Mr Turner', if you haven't already been. It's a wonderful, moving portrayal of Turner's eccentric, strong and difficult character, his complicated love life and close relationship with his father. It is shot beautifully with scenes recreating his pictures, showing the emotional inspiration for his work and gives an insight into the art world and huge industrial changes of Victorian London.
