The ‘Cornelia Parker’ Exhibition brings together almost 100 of this contemporary British artist’s artworks which explore important issues of our time. Parker’s mesmerising immersive installations in which ordinary objects are magically transformed into extraordinary works of art are included, together with examples of her works in embroidery, drawing, film and photography.
‘Alberto Giacometti and Isabel Rawsthorne, A Conversation’ focuses on the romantic and artistic relationship between the Swiss sculptor and British artist. Standing figure sculptures inspired by Rawsthorne are on show alongside busts of Giacometti’s most frequent sitters. Paintings and drawings by both artists reveal their shared artistic approaches and compliment the iconic sculptures.
